Lush Ayesha Fresh Face Mask Review

Image
Following the stress of finding a house, packing and all the added extras when it comes to getting a new job, I've found myself reaching out to face masks to give my skin (and self) a little pick me up. One of the ones I've found myself reaching for is the Ayesha Fresh Face Mask from Lush. I'm not going to lie, I was VERY unsure as to whether I would every try this mask as I could not stand the scent the first time I smelt it. All I can say is I found the smell quite over-powering and it made me think twice about my purchase. Set I wouldn't put something that smelt this way on my face, I palmed it off to my boyfriend. After a few uses and seeing how soft his skin was after use, I decided to cave in and give this mask a go and, now that I have used it, I've got accustomed to the smell. As this is one of the masks you need to keep chill...

My Pinterest Obsessions #1

Image
I have had a secret (not so secret) love affair with pinterest for the longest time. And lets be honest, who doesn't? With thousands of amazing ideas, tutorials, inspirational photos and delicious recipes, it's hard NOT to find something to fall in love with. With my current obsession and my love for all things pretty, I have decided to start a series- 'My Pinterest Obsession'- to show you all the pretty things that I've found wasting time on the web. Copper Adjustable Table Lamp https://www.pinterest.com/pin/515732594803964767/ Originally found on notonthehighstreet.com , this lamp is super cute thanks to its simple look paired with this gorgeous copper (although I'd almost say this is more rose gold!) Burgundy lace up boots https://www.pinterest.com/pin/505669864385545503/ I know it's still summer here, and I'm already too tall for heels- but I'm massively lusting over these beauties! Life Update- New Job, New Life

Life is hectic. I have been completely and utterly run off my feet and haven't had a lot of time to sit down and blog, so I thought I'd let you all know why. Over the last month or two I have been applying for jobs left right and center. I was called for an interview two weeks ago and, following that, was greeted a week later for a 'meet and greet'. This proved very successful and I got the satisfying news on Monday that I have landed the job. Yay me! :D I handed in my resignation letter to my current employer, with my final day to be February 13, 2015. While I am extremely proud and excited for my new position, I also feel a little sad as I will be waving goodbye to some great people that I've grown to know extremely well over the last two years. My new job also means moving, not only house, but town. It's only around an hour away, but still a move is a move. We are currently house hunting, so I'll be sending my partner Chris to go inspect som...
