Zoella Beauty

Image
(all photos from http://www.feelunique.com/ ) Anyone who knows me knows I am a huge fan of Zoella. Out of the hundreds of youtubers and bloggers I watch and follow, Zoe Sugg is the only one that my boyfriend can recognize due to my constant obsession with her blog , tutorials and vlogs. She was the first person to get me excited about makeup and blogging, and continues to be a huge inspiration to me and thousands of other young girls out there. Whats even more inspiring, is the fact that Zoe has recently launched her new beauty line- Zoella Beauty. Zoella Beauty is a range of reasonably (and by reasonably I mean SUPER cheap) beauty products from bath fizzers to makeup bags. These are: Zoella Beauty Creamy Madly Dreamy Body Lotion 160ml $10 AUD Zoella Beauty Fizz Bar Fragranced Bath Fizzer 200g $10 AUD Zoella Beauty Soak Opera Bath Soak & Shower Cream 490ml $10 AUD Zoella Beauty Blissful Mistful Fragranced Body Mist 45ml $16 AUD Zoella Beauty Let's Glow Fragranced Candle $10 AUD...

*Shine Like a Diamond- Bad Luxe Boutique Review*

Image
Before I get into my review, I'd just like to give you all a little heads up that I was kindly sent this item for review by Bad Luxe Boutique.  I am not getting paid and all opinions are my own  and are not influenced in any way. All future PR posts will be (just like this one) marked with the * symbol. I hold the right to give you my honest opinion- the good, the bad and the ugly. So, with that out of the way and without further ado, here is my thoughts. First of all- this vest top ( shine like a diamond tank vest top - ) is amazingly comfortable. The fabric is soft and doesn't itch or irritate my skin at all (which is quite hard to find for my sensitive skin). I adore the leather look neck line and the wet look detail in the diamond. I love the use of the decals, however they do feel like they'll fall off easily, either in the wash or if you get them caught on something (maybe a bag). As for size, I'm an Australian 10, which after a quick google search, equates to a s...

Guest Blog?

Hello lovlies! I'm writing this post to appeal to all those out there interested in doing a collab/guest post with me. The idea is simple: We each write a blog with a short introduction of ourselves and about our chosen topic (for example, our favorite clothing store or product), send the post's to each other and the other person posts your blog post (with all credit and links to you). Easy eh? If you are interested- feel free to fill out the contact form to the right or comment bellow with your contact details. On a side note, I will be uploading more content soon as I'm expecting some lovely parcels in the mail. Until next time... xx

Shanghai Suzy Spring-Summer 2014-15 Lipstick Collection

Image
Photo from the Vegan Beauty website (link below) As the weather heats up, so does my excitement to try more bold and beautiful lipstick shades and brands. One brand that I'm dying to try is the Shanghai Suzy Spring-Summer 2014-15 Lipstick Collection.  This collection has 8 limited edition colours- made up of two 'nourish' lipsticks and six matte. At a cost of $12.95 each, these lipsticks are an absolute steal for any makeup collection. They have cute and fitting titles to each one- which I personally prefer over just numbering each product. These lipsticks contain no animal products and are not tested on animals either- so they are great for the vegan beauties out there as well. The colours are: *  Miss Leah- Baby Cocoa (nourish) *  Miss Olivia- Apricot (nourish) *  Miss Bree- Pink Blush *  Miss Christina- Neon Guava *  Miss Courtney- Electric Flamingo *  Miss Mia- Foxy Hibiscus *  Miss Ally- Amethyst *  Miss Nicole- Burgundy Brown I'm really...

What do you want from your Blogging experience?

Image
(from Google Images) Like many others out there, I started blogging because- quite simply- I enjoyed it. And I still do. Its exciting to sit down and talk about a product or what you did in your day. Its exciting to get messages from bloggers and PR alike asking questions, sharing information. There is always something new to read or another person to follow. But why is this so fun? What do I want to get out of my blogging experience? First and foremost, I want to be approachable. I want my followers to feel free to ask me questions, new bloggers to ask for help and PR companies to find me approachable and worthwhile. Do you need blog post ideas? Do you want to do a collaboration or guest post series? Do you want me to review a product (whether your a PR or not)? Do you need advice on something, or simply want to have a genuine chat with someone with similar interests to you? If you answered yes to any of these- feel free to contact me via the contact form to the right or directly emai...

My Number 1 Must

Image
As many of my readers know- I've been struggling with a few painful pimples on my lip line for the last few weeks. In this time, I've tried everything I could get my hands on to make them go away. Tea tree oil, lemon juice, cream and ice, just to name a few. Last week they started to split and scab (gross, I know, but it's a vital part of the story) and my face was in constant pain from it. That's when my boyfriends mother handed me this little red tube, and told me to apply it every time my lip/pimples started to feel too dry. I'd like to introduce you all to my new best friend; Lucas' Papaw Ointment! The ointment itself is an off white (kinda yellow tinged) goo, with pretty much no scent at all. It does feel a little bit tacky at first, but once you warm it up a little bit with your fingers, it melts down and feels pretty much like lip gloss does. It isn't sticky at all, and is moisturizing and nourishing on the lips. The back reads 'A local tropical a...

My MAC Lipstick Wishlist

Image
I'm going to admit that I have never tried any MAC product before. I've heard so many good things about them however, and I've had so many recommendations to try their lipsticks. I decided to check out their online store (which you can find  here ) and see what lipsticks I would try first. Here are my picks: ($36 each) (from left to right- Sushi Kiss, Giddy, Lip Blossom, Spice it up and Angel) I've seen many bloggers and youtubers rave about these colours and I'm so excited to order some to review. Not only and I excited for my MAC order, but my lips are finally healing, which means I'll be able to do all my lipstick product posts soon! What colours would you recommend from MAC? Until next time... xx

Lush Have It! Lush wishlist

Image
I'm completely and utterly obsessed with lush. I've loved everything I've tried so far except for one soap because I simply didn't enjoy the scent. Unfourtuneatly, I haven't had the money to purchase some of their other products lately, so I've devised a small wishlist to show you what I would buy if I could right now. Please note that these pictures are not mine- all have been taken from the Lush Website, Australia. 1. Sex Bomb Bath Bomb - $6.75 I love my coffee and my lipstick, but neither can beat a good bath bomb. Lush states on their website: "Jasmine- clary sage and ylang ylang to make you feel like a love goddess." Not 100% what half of that is- but it sounds divine!  2. Dragon's Egg Bath Bomb - $5.95 Claimed to have a fruity fragrance and described as 'bath tub fireworks', this little number sounds perfect for a fun, fizzy bath. 3. A French Kiss Bubble Bar - $10.50 "The Lush French Kiss is a calming and reviving lavender, ro...
